I went to a concert on friday…?

ok so on friday i went to a concert and i brought my camera which is a nikon D40 and the guy who checked my bag said i couldnt bring it in because it had a zoom. Does anyone know the reason for that?

ok I be they had an official photographer there who signed a contract that specified there would not be another person shooting with an SLR camera.

You have an upscale camera and you now have the potential to shoot up scale pictures. That sucks for the photographer who is there for the purpose of taking pictures of the concert.

I dont think its because it had ‘zoom’ think its because its a professional camera and they dont want you to get professional images of the concert.

A camera like the D40 comes in handy at a concert because of the large aperture size. It works real well in low light conditions.
