Thanks for your help i am looking into getting a cell phone from Telus Mobility and i really wanted to get the LG Dare , but telus will not be offering it for a while so for now i am looking at these two devices because they are both Touch screen devices . Please Tell Me everything that you can about these phone . i have an LG 8600 and it is horrable it shuts off on me and is just really stupid , and i am in a contract there for i can not switch to Rogers & get the iPhone .
ok the LG venus is just a lousy phone...
it has the lowest rating on a cell phone of any kind... check out phonedog.com or phonescoop.com for more into...
the instinct has html browsing (pages show up just as they would on your computer) while the venus has a wap browser which is a very limited browser for the internet.
the venus i had a friend who had this phone she dropped it on her floor (which was carpet with lots of padding) she busted the screen and it popped off...
and it is hell to use since you have no qwerty keypad anywhere on the phone and the top numbers are hard to hit because of the edge on the phone...
so it isntt really user friendly
texting is going to be slow since it only has T9 predict txt and you have no option of a qwerty keyboard..
the camera is so so but lacking some features you would expect on a phone...
no the speaker even in speaker phone mode is not clear at all it is very distorted...
i am talking about the venus i am not sure about the instinct but i have a friend who has that phone and she likes it better than her old iphone 
i have the samsung glyde with verizon and i love my phone...
samsung have great products.... LG just wish they could keep up
